Attwoods Wines specialises in true cool climate, close-planted Victorian Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with a focus on the central highlands of Ballarat and Macedon Ranges. This unique part of Australia has a continental climate, similar to the great cool climate of Burgundy. Winemaker Troy Walsh began his journey working as a sommelier for some of London’s leading Michelin starred restaurants, before his passion for Pinot Noir led him to working in Burgundy itself. Troy brings this inspiration to his own label Attwoods, established in 2010.
